What's up with these mini sessions anyway?

Each month I offer themed mini sessions to my clients. These mini sessions take place at my ranch in Mokelumne Hill, CA. and are only fifteen minutes long. Mini session clients proof 7-9 photos, in a private online gallery, and they get one photo for download, in high resolution form (value of $65). Many of my clients choose to order more than the one freebie and those additional products get billed separately.

As far as the price of the mini session - it varies, depending on on how much is involved. For example, my spring and fall mini sessions are priced lower because I have less overhead involved. Whereas the princess and pony shoots that I have planned for this summer, the kids go home with flower halos (which I have to outsource) thus raising the cost of the mini session. The good news is - I network with local artists whenever I can, lowering my carbon footprint, while investing in my local community.

2021 Mini Session Schedule

January 23rd and 24th: Boudoir Mini Sessions..........$235 SOLD OUT

Celebrate your body and your sexiness with some tasteful boudoir photos. These are shot at my in home studio and because it's a mini session, clients can only bring one outfit and we only do bed shots.

February: I am sorry but I don't offer any mini sessions during the month of February.

March 13th and 14th: Daffodils, Vintage Books, and Bubbles..........$135 - SOLD OUT

These are shot in the morning time, in my meadow where the daffodils are going strong. We add in some reading time and bubble play for extra fun. Kiddos get to cut their own daffodils to make a bouquet for home.

April 24th and 25th: Mommy and Me..........$199

Give yourself and early Mother's Day gift and book a mommy and me mini session! These will be shot in a pretty grassy area with a rustic bench, and potted flowers and you and your daughter will go home with flower head pieces to keep. (Flower head pieces made by the good folks over at Made in Amador).

May 29th and 30th: Fishing with Dad..........$135

Book photos of your husband and the kiddos for an early Father's Day gift! These will be shot at the creek near my house and we will have fishing props on hand.

June26th and 27th: Watermelons, Licorice, and Lemonade with the kiddos:..........$135

This set up is perfect for the siblings or cousins who love to show off their fun side! I have all the props - you just bring the kiddos!

July 24th and 25th: Sunflowers & Gladiolus..........$135

Here on the ranch, we have so many "mini session locations" and one of them is my summertime, sunflower patch! This area has sunflowers that reach to be well over twenty feet tall and beautiful blooming Gladiolus bulbs, at the ground level. I plant these to encircle around a rustic bench and it makes for the most magical photos!

August 21st and 22nd: Princess and Ponies..........$199

This is shot in the evening time and in my barn and we capture up close shots of the beautiful princess, engaging with the most beautiful horse in all the land! Flower halos are a part of this mini session and your child will get to take hers home to keep! (Flower head pieces made by the good folks over at Made in Amador).
