Marriage Proposal at Greenhorn Golf Course in Angels Camp

I photographed this couple as high school sweet hearts at their senior photo shoot, as well as a few family photos sessions over the years, so capturing this proposal today was pretty cool for me. Cody had called me a few weeks back and had gone over the plan he had created. He scouted a specific location and we chose a day. We tricked Maddy by telling her that I booked her family to model for some promotional material that I was creating. She thought it was a normal old shoot, as I have shot this family many times over the years. Anyway, when Cody caught Maddie off guard and dropped down to his knee and opened the ring box, she burst into tears. It was such a beautiful moment. Here are some of my favorites from today:
