I absolutely adore this time of year, when it's not hot yet but the days are getting longer and the scenery is epic!! We live in Mokelumne Hill, CA and our growing zone is 9b so we still have some rainy days ahead of us but we have many sunny ones in between. This time of year you can find me wondering our land with a camera in hand, soaking up the beauty, and capturing as many shots as I can...

On that note, check out some of the "fun on the farm" photos from our ranch right now as we exit winter and enter spring! This time of year, we have so many wild flowers growing and I adore the clover and "Minor's lettuce" that seems to be indigenous out here. We were very fortunate to inherit many bulbs like the yellow daffodil in the photo.

The plums that grown from this tree are the best, ever!! In fact, I am forever grateful to the couple who sold us our home, for planting these amazing trees on the land!

Another amazing tree on the ranch is this nectarine tree. She is an amazing producer and so pretty to look at!

If I am not out hiking around and taking photos, I am usually in my garden areas.....avoiding house chores. On that note, here is a little video on how Rob and I are prepping our land for summer plants.
